The New York International Children's Film Festival (NYICFF) launched this week in NYC. It's the largest festival for children and teens in North America. Each year the festival presents 100 animated, live action and experimental shorts and features from around the world plus gala premieres, retrospectives, filmmaker Q&As;, workshops, audience voting, and the NYICFF Awards Ceremony. My culture vulture sister, Amy, called me the other day to invite me to the Annual Broadway Purim Spiel this Monday night at the Hudson Theatre in NYC. Dare I be crazy to refuse?! Of course not!
