I’m happy to announce to you a new program that I have put together to support the performing arts in Mamaroneck, Westchester: THE EMELIN THEATRE BLOGGING AMBASSADORS. When I decided it was time to go local and help raise awareness about all the arts institutions around me, I immediately decided the place to go was the Emelin. Over the years, it has provided a wealth of creative programming for not only my children, but for me. The Emelin offers a variety of entertainment that appeals to all ages and tastes.
So, together with Lisa Reilly, the theatre’s Executive Director, we came up with the idea to create a group of bloggers to serve as ambassadors for the theatre. We all share the same respect and devotion for what the Emelin does and will together to support the theater through social media.

Kerri from Raising Three Savvy Ladies hails from Pelham. She blogs about the places her family goes, the choices they make and life with an infant, 4 year-old and 7 year-old. She also is Editor for Savvy Source City for Queens, Staten Island & the Bronx. She has three girls.
Maria from Plus Lily Makes Three is a choreographer, dancer, artist, traveler, wannabe crafter, rap-superstar and mother. She lives in Mount Kisco and takes full advantage of all that is around her, natural and man-made, travel, arts, food, culture and theatre. She write stories about her adopted daughter + dog + husband and all of their misadventures.
Beth has a blog called Role Mommy. She is a successful publicist and free-lance writer. She’s also the co-author of Peeing in Peace: Tales & Tips for Type A Moms and the newly released, See Mom Run: Side-Splitting Essays from the World’s Most Harried Moms (Plain White Press). Additionally, she is a Just for Fun channel leader for Lifetime Moms. She also just started a new magazine called Project You, which you must take a look at. Beth lives in New Rochelle.
Kelcey is the founder of The Mama Bird Diaries. She’s also the co-founder and weekly contributor for The Mouthy Housewives, a humor advice site and has been published in the Miami Herald, the News & Observer, the Modesto Bee, The Sacramento Bee and other newspapers across the country.
Jennifer blogs at Found in Yonkers. She blogs about everything Westchester-related. She lives in Yonkers

A bunch of us will be heading to the Emelin to check out teheir first fall kid’s production, Dinosaurs! on October 16th at 11am. We’ll be hanging out with Stegosaurus and hobnob with Tyrannosaurus Rex as Jim West Productions brings the age of the dinosaurs to life. He mixes storytelling with the latest dinosaur discoveries, dino-puppet making ideas, and a rich musical score of Mozart, Beethoven, Mahler, Stravinsky and Prokofiev. There is also a show at 1:30pm and tickets are $18 adults/$13 children.
