My visit to Mesa was so relaxing. Yoga in the desert, tea at the Ritz Carlton, a morning hike, time to go shopping and even a visit to a spa called Fushsia. The spa trip was unexpected and certainly welcome. My regular life at home is pretty hectic and there is not much time to focus on myself. With work, the kids, my husband , my friends and family, my “to-do” list is long and never-ending. The amount of time I get to spend on myself is minimal. In the heart of Mesa, a tranquil city in the heart of Arizona, there is a spa that was created for people like me, and it’s affordable. A great combination.
Fuchsia is a cross between a swanky spa and a lower end saloon. It’s swanky enough and the prices aren’t even close to what you pay at a fancy spa. They offer express appointments at discounted prices. Locals can become members for $59 a month and get discounts and free services. Their services include a Blow Dry Bar, Shellac Manicure, 1/2 Hour Massage and an Express Pedicure. I indulged in a facial and pedicure and was in and out in one hour. I loved the way I was in and out in 60 minutes and felt renewed when I left.
As women, we should all treat ourselves now and then, and this was an easy way to do just that.
