Over at MamaDrama, they’re giving away a family four-pack giveaway for Jazz at Lincoln Center’s next Jazz for Young People: What is Improv? on February 11th at 1 and 3pm. Drummer Matt Wilson and his Arts and Crafts ensemble will lead audiences through an interactive program on the most fundamental component of jazz, improvisation, as they explore how jazz musicians invent music in the moment. They’ll also be featuring a variety of family-friendly pre-concert activities at 12:15 and 2:15pm.
