As you know, I’m all about introducing my kids to everything cultural in New York City. That’s why I’m thrilled to be joining forces with John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean, an innovative live black-light puppet show currently running in New York City. My family is fascinated by the world that exists under the sea and what better way to learn about sea life than through a theatrical musical production?!
ImaginOcean is a magical undersea adventure for kids of all ages. Tank, Bubbles and Dorsel and three best friends who just happen to be fish, and they’re about to set out on a remarkable journey of discovery. And it all starts with a treasure map. As they swim off in search of clues, they’ll sing, they’ll dance, and they’ll make new friends, including everyone in the audience. Ultimately they discover the greatest treasure of all: friendship. 
John Tartaglia was last seen on Broadway as Pinocchio in Shrek: The Musical. He is the creator, executive producer and star of The Playhouse Disney series, Johnny and the Sprites, one of our favorite shows. He is best known for his Tony Nominated star turn as Rod and Princeton in the Tony Award Winning Musical Avenue Q, having originated the roles Off Broadway. Prior to Shrek, he was most recently seen on Broadway starring as “Lumiere” in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
ImaginOcean! is jam packed with fun, magic and music ranging from R&B; to Big Band. It’s a show not to be missed, your kids will love it.

We love John. During intermission from Shrek when we told our daughter that Pinnochio was Johnny she started singing the "sprite song". We would love to see him again. We actually passed the theater when we were walking in the city one day and our daughter slowed down and smiled. What a fun way to start the summer!
