The New York Theatre Ballet is bringing Carnival of the Animals and The Firebird to the stage this season.
“Imagine a totally unwired world and the impact of so much visual richness on the children in it. Then unplug a 21st century kid and head for the Gould.”

My daughter loved the ballet. As you can see from the picture above, she was enchanted by being at a dance performance with professional dancers. She can’t wait to go back for more.
As for the winner, here is what she had to say:
Hi Holly,
Thank you so much for the tickets to the ballet theatre….we enjoyed every moment of the beautiful performances! Not only was my 3 year old wide-eyed and on the edge of her seat throughout, she held on to her firebird red feather and talked about it all the way home.
Thank you again!

I've never taken my 7 year old daughter to a ballet because every time I asked her if she wanted to watch a ballet, she always said she wanted to be on the stage. Now that she switched to tap and jazz, I am sure she will enjoy being in the audience.
great blog! i took my daughters (now 4 and 6) to a nytb show a couple of years ago and it was wonderful. would love to go again. after the show we went to pop burger almost across the street, perfect for kids.
My daughter loves her ballet lessons and would love to see a professional ballet performance.
Thank you!

I've never taken my daughter to the ballet, but would love to !
I took lily to the nutcracker at Lincoln center last yr she looved it. I am a choreographer/dancer in NYC and Lily comes to all my shows and rehearsals. There is such richness in live dance that a movie or tv show just can't compare! hope to win the tiks!!!
I have never taken my daughter to the ballet but she/we would love to go.
