I started reading the Harry Potter books with my 7 year old this year and I understand the significance of this series. I’m enjoying them as much as he is, perhaps even more. It’s pure fantasy, a treasure of words for any child.

My son turned 7 on Wednesday and I pulled my copy of Harry Potter 1 to start reading it to him. I can’t wait to see his eyes open wide with excitement as I read the book to him.
